I developed the Human Empowerment through Expression Education at IPU, Japan in 2014 & have worked with alumni from the performing arts company The Young Americans in developing & refining the program since then.
Through a four-year music-based program at the university students are encouraged to challenge their boundaries & develop a sense of self through their physical & vocal expression.
- The aim of the first year of the program is the exposure to different types of expression.
- The second year encourages communication & teaching experience across different activities.
- The third year encourages creation.
- The fourth year encourages management & oversight of the program.
With this base concept, RACA has become a derivative of this program, utilizing expression education as a foundation in delivering performing & delivering workshops since 2019.
